FanDuel NBA DFS Values: 1/17/2020

We have a 7 game slate on FanDuel NBA DFS tonight! With lock at 7:00 PM EST, here’s who I like to reach value tonight.

Remember, value is determined by reaching 5x the price for the player. Example: a price tag of $10,000 means the player needs to get 50.0 FPTS. Ideally, we want guys that smash that value for 7x-8x their worth.

Point Guard

Malcolm Brogdon, IND – $6,800

Since returning from injury, Brogdon has scored 44.9 and 35.2 FPTS in two games. His price hasn’t jumped up into the $8k’s yet so it’s a great time to pounce on an underpriced Brogdon.

Shabazz Napier, MIN – $5,000

With the T’Wolves trading Jeff Teague to Atlanta, Napier is the unquestioned PG for the T’Wolves. In his 4 games with over 30 minutes, Napier has averaged north of 38 FPTS per game. With Teague out of the picture, Napier should be unleashed by the T’wolves.

Shooting Guard

Bradley Beal, WAS – $7,500

Beal has been out of the lineup with injuries for most of the season but he should return to form soon. Personally, I want to be on the side that has Beal for less than $9k as opposed to waiting for his price jump.

Duncan Robinson, MIA – $3,900

With Tyler Herro labeled as a Game Time Decision and Justice Winslow ruled out, Robinson is in line for more minutes. Robinson has played 40+ minutes in the past and has a ceiling of 46 FPTS. That all sounds great, but his floor is around 10 FPTS. Utilize Robinson for salary relief if Herro sits, but don’t be surprised if he underwhelms.

Small Forward

Pascal Siakam, TOR – $7,900

Much like Bradley Beal, Siakam has recently returned from injury and it’s only a matter of time before his price skyrockets. Keep an eye out for the status of Fred Van Vleet, if he continues to miss time, Siakam will continue to have insane usage rates.

Tobias Harris, PHI – $6,700

Harris has the ability to score 50+ FPTS on any given night, in fact, he did last time out! With Joel Embiid out of the lineup, Harris has been relied on to provide more scoring for the Sixers and he’s done just that. Harris is too cheap considering the upside he provides in a great matchup against Chicago.

Power Forward

LaMarcus Aldridge, SAS – $6,600

Aldridge will always play over 30 minutes, so the opportunity is there. Aldridge will always be at least 2nd on the Spurs in usage, so the opportunity is there. Aldridge has shown the ability to score 66.3 FPTS this season, so the opportunity for extreme value… is there! Not to mention, the Hawks have been putrid against the post.

Maxi Kleber, DAL – $4,700

With Kristaps Porzingis still nursing an injury, Kleber remains in a key role for the Mavs. He’s shown the ability to score over 30 FPTS and his size will be needed against the Trailblazers tonight.

Center

Myles Turner, IND – $6,100

With the news that KAT is returning to the T’Wolves lineup, Turner sees a bump in minutes and usage. KAT makes the T’Wolves worse on defense and increases the scoring total for both teams.

Marc Gasol, TOR – $5,000

His price is down because, shocker, he’s just returned from a long injury stint. Gasol is a safe bet for 5x value against the poor interior defense of the Wizards.
