FanDuel NBA DFS Values: 1/14/2020

We have a 6 game slate on FanDuel NBA DFS tonight! With lock at 7:30 PM EST, here’s who I like to reach value tonight.

Remember, value is determined by reaching 5x the price for the player. Example: a price tag of $10,000 means the player needs to get 50.0 FPTS. Ideally, we want guys that smash that value for 7x-8x their worth.

Point Guard

Trae Young, ATL – $10,000

Monitor the health of Young as he is listed as questionable for this game. But, anytime we can get Young for $10k or less, we have to pull the trigger. With the ability to score 50+ FPTS each and every time he touches the hardwood, Young should be able to reach value and is the best “stud” to pay up for tonight.

Patrick Beverley, LAC – $5,100

With Paul George sidelined, Beverley gets a usage uptick. If that weren’t enough, the overly aggressive Beverley gets to face the most turnover prone backcourt in the NBA. There will be plenty of STOCKS available for Pat Bev.

Shooting Guard

James Harden, HOU – $11,700

Harden is priced right at his season average of FPTS if he gets 5x value. But, Russell Westbrook is OUT for this game. This means Harden is going to be the entire offense for the Rockets. I can imagine 70+ FPTS tonight from the former MVP.

Pat Connaughton, MIL – $3,500

In a blowout game most likely, Pat will be get plenty of run for the Bucks. At minimum price, Pat will be relied upon to be a feature scorer in the 4th quarter.

Small Forward

Tim Hardaway Jr, DAL – $4,700

THJ has been rebounding more than usual lately which has resulted in him reaching value on a gamely basis. With the Mavs expected to win by double-digits, THJ is going to chucking plenty of shots.

Danuel House, HOU – $4,000

With Westbrook OUT, House is going to step into the starting lineup and see his usage rate increase. With the opposition almost certainly going to double-team Harden, House should have some open 3-point attempts.

Power Forward

Brandon Clarke, MEM – $4,900

When you play against the Rockets, the pace of play increases and there are plenty of rebounds to go around. If Clarke can avoid fouling Harden and Capela, he should easily hit value as the scoring opportunities will present themselves.

Julius Randle, NY – $7,700

Randle will be tasked with trying to go bucket-for-bucket with the Bucks in a blowout spot. If this game is within 10 points, Randle will be the most likely reason and he’ll remain on the court. Expect Randle to score 40+ FPTS in a low ownership slate.

Center

Jonas Valanciunas, MEM – $6,700

Take what was said for Clarke and repeat it here… but better. Jo-Val has an excellent chance to once again score 50+ FPTS and is way too under-priced. I love the Memphis bigs in this game and Jo-Val is a major reason why.

Damian Jones, ATL – $3,500

At minimum price and with Alex Len expected to miss action, Jones has great opportunity for extra minutes. If you’re paying up for plenty of studs, Jones could be a “last-guy-in” for your lineups.
