FanDuel NBA DFS Values: 1/7/2020

We have a 6 game slate on FanDuel NBA DFS tonight! With lock at 7:00 PM EST, here’s who I like to reach value tonight.

Remember, value is determined by reaching 5x the price for the player. Example: a price tag of $10,000 means the player needs to get 50.0 FPTS. Ideally, we want guys that smash that value for 7x-8x their worth.

Point Guard

Chris Paul, OKC – $6,800

Paul has scored 50+ FPTS various times this season and his floor is around 23 FPTS. His floor doesn’t hit value his season average of 35 FPTS does! I’d side with the season average happening tonight, at least. The Nets are allowing the 2nd most FPTS to opposing PG’s and Paul is guaranteed 30+ minutes.

Derrick Rose, DET – $6,100

Similar to his running mate that we’ll get to shortly, Rose has an excellent matchup with the Cavs young backcourt. The turnover happy Cavs guards will allow Rose to notch a few more steals than normal. Also, Rose has scored 20+ PTS in 4 of his last 5 games.

Shooting Guard

Caris LeVert, BKN – $4,800

LeVert returned to the lineup over the weekend after an extended absence. In his return, LeVert played 15 minutes and scored 13 points. Probably still on a minutes restriction, LeVert will be limited to around 20 minutes most likely. However, LeVert is never one to shy away from putting up shots! He should easily be able to exceed value tonight.

Bruce Brown, DET – $4,800

Playing against the Cavs backcourt, Brown has a great opportunity for 2+ steals. Having notched 2+ steals in 5 of his last 7 games, Brown is nabbing FPTS from categories besides just scoring.

Small Forward

Trevor Ariza, SAC – $3,800

Getting a guy that can score 30+ FPTS for near minimum price is as chalky as it gets. Ariza will likely be forced into some frontcourt minutes which increases his rebounding potential against a trigger-happy PHO team.

Kent Bazemore, POR – $4,000

The FPTS fluctuate vastly for Bazemore, but the minutes are consistent. In a game that should be close, Bazemore has a plus-matchup against the Raptors.

Power Forward

Nemanja Bjelica, SAC – $4,700

With both Richaun Holmes ($6,400) and Marvin Bagley ($5,100) listed as DOUBTFUL, Bjelica will have to play both the PF and Center minutes tonight. Having shown 50+ FPTS upside in the past, Bjelica is going to be chalk on this slate.

Harry Giles, SAC – $3,500

If you’re looking for a minimum price pivot off of Bjelica, Giles will also see extended run for the Kings frontcourt. Giles is capable of getting 20+ FPTS when given the floor time and this is a positive matchup.

Center

Steven Adams, OKC – $6,500

When Nerlens Noel is OUT, like he is tonight, Adams sees an uptick in minutes. Despite this game having the lowest predicted total on the slate, Adams has another excellent opportunity to obtain an easy double-double.

Ante Zizic, CLE – $3,500

Zizic was amazing in the Cavs last game, mainly because Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love did not play. With Love expected back in the starting lineup and Thompson still questionable to play, Zizic may not get the same run as last game. However, Zizic played well enough to earn more minutes tonight AND there is a the chance Love gets benched/traded because of his attitude.

Conclusion

Who do you think is the best play tonight on FanDuel? Should we lock in any 1 player and build around them? Let me know in the comments below! Also, check out the shop and other content by clicking here.
