FanDuel NBA DFS Values: 1/3/2020

We have a 6 game slate on FanDuel NBA DFS tonight! With lock at 7:00 PM EST, here’s who I like to reach value tonight.

Remember, value is determined by reaching 5x the price for the player. Example: a price tag of $10,000 means the player needs to get 50.0 FPTS. Ideally, we want guys that smash that value for 7x-8x their worth.

Point Guard

Frank Ntilikina, NY – $3,900

Ntilikina looks to get extended run tonight as Elfrid Peyton and Dennis Smith are questionable to play. In the past, we’ve seen Ntilikina achieve success in the starting lineup and this isn’t a horrible matchup.

Rajon Rondo, LAL – $3,900

Backcourt running mate Alex Caruso ($3,600) has been ruled out so Rondo should play more minutes tonight. With the added opportunity, Rondo will be a passing-lane beast as the Pelicans will struggle with ball-security.

Shooting Guard

Marcus Smart, BOS – $5,100

With the news that Kemba Walker is OUT tonight, Smart looks to be the primary ball-handler for the Celtics tonight. Smart is usually get for a little over 1 FPTS per minute he is on the court and his minutes will surely increase tonight.

Terrence Ross, ORL – $4,400

UPDATE

Aaron Gordon is starting tonight, taking away from Ross’ value.

Ross is going to be the secondary scoring option behind Nikola Vucevic for this Magic team tonight. With both Jonathan Issac and Aaron Gordon expected out, Ross will be getting plenty of shots up to warrant value.

Small Forward

Tobias Harris, PHI – $6,400

Harris has seen his price drop as of late but he is always capable of a 50+ FPTS game. With the lower than normal price tag and the increase in tempo due to playing the Rockets, Harris should be a great bargain.

Kent Bazemore, POR – $4,000

Bazemore is going to get overlooked in an excellent matchup tonight. Regardless of if Bradley Beal plays for the Wizards tonight, this POR-WAS game is going to be a fantasy goldmine.

Power Forward

Dario Saric, PHO – $3,900

Saric has been terrible in recent games, so, his price has plummeted. But, he could see 30+ minutes tonight which gives him the opportunity to reach his 45 FPTS ceiling.

Daniel Theis, BOS – $4,400

Theis has been seeing his minutes increase which in term has increased in productivity. He’s shown the ability to score 30+ FPTS in the past and he doesn’t need a lot of minutes to get there.

Center

JaVale McGee, LAL – $4,000

McGee is the ultimate boom-or-bust Center and I think tonight is a boom night. The Pelicans will be playing recklessly in a effort to defeat the Lakers in a revenge game. When teams play reckless, we get bad shots and turnovers which plays into McGee’s strengths.

Anzejs Pasecniks, WAS – $3,900

Even though he doesn’t get a lot of STOCKS (Steals + Blocks), Pasecniks is getting enough time on the court to warrant value. He has back-to-back double digit rebounding efforts and is a good bet to get 20+ minutes once again tonight.

Conclusion

Who do you think is the best play tonight on FanDuel? Should we lock in any 1 player and build around them? Let me know in the comments below! Also, check out the shop and other content by clicking here.
