We wrap up the Sunday action with the Sports By Seefeldt, Sunday Night Football: Week 9 Preview. Tonight we will see if the New England Patriots can remain undefeated as they travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens.

The lines have moved based on public reaction, but I was able to get Patriots -3.5 on the spread at +105. That being said, I don’t like the current moneyline of -170 for the Patriots. Lastly, I like the UNDER on the O/U 44.5 points (-110). These are some of the better defenses in the league so I suspect that this could be a sneaky low-scoring game.

If you play for the Patriots offense, you’re questionable to play in this game. If you play for the Ravens defensive secondary, you’re questionable to play in this game. There are simply too many names to list right here but I will mention Marquise Brown as an impact player that will likely miss tonight’s game.

Ravens Offense vs. Patriots Defense

The Patriots have had the #1 defense in the NFL, but, they haven’t faced a talent like Lamar Jackson yet. Jackson is the ultimate difference-maker and is already breaking QB rushing records set by Michael Vick. Thankfully for the Patriots, they are capable of stopping Mark Ingram and co which will force Jackson to throw the ball. Jackson’s favorite target, Mark Andrews, will be extremely busy tonight if Brown misses action.

Patriots Offense vs. Ravens Defense

As the season wears on, we’re starting to see more Sony Michel carries and Julian Edelman check-downs. This is a pretty clear response to the dip in Tom Brady’s production as a down-the-field passer. With Josh Gordon out of town, Phillip Dorsett and recently activated N’Keal Harry will plenty of targets available to make up the difference. As for the Ravens, busy as usual for them tonight will keep Michel in check. But, they’ll need Matthew Judon to create more pressure than usual to disrupt the short to intermediate passing game. Forcing Brady to throw deep will be the Ravens best chance in this game.

Patriots: 21

Ravens: 13

Guaranteed Touchdown Scorer: James White (If he plays)

Dart Throw Touchdown Scorer: Lamar Jackson (Rushing)
