*BREAKING NEWS* Max Scherzer has been scratched for his start tonight! Joe Ross will start in his place.
The MLB World Series is tied at 2-games a piece! The Astros have rallied back and tied the series on the road and look to win Game 5 so they can capture the championship at home for Game 6. Or if the trend continues, the Astros will win tonight only to lose Game 6 and 7 at home so that the Nationals become the champs!

2019 MLB World Series: Game 5
The Astros (-150) have been the favorite over the Nationals (+130) for each and every game this World Series. In fact, the runline and the total have remained fairly consistent too! If the last two games are any indication of how the series will continue, then the Astros -1.5 (+115) runline is an outstanding opportunity to gain plus-money on a bet tonight. As for the total, take the OVER at even money as both teams should be able to combine for more than 7 runs tonight.

The World Series… so far!
Once again, the road team conquers all! We’ve seen the visiting team win each game of this series so far and we’ve reached the Game 1 rematch tonight for Game 5. The last time Cole and Scherzer took the mound, we had the closest game of the series in a 5-4 Nationals win. Will the same fate occur tonight? I don’t believe so because the Astros bats have awoken! Meanwhile, the Nationals have only scored 1 run in each of the last two games.
Game 5 Takes
Altuve and Brantley have been on a tear in Nationals Park and I suspect that continues despite Scherzer pitching tonight. I also expect Cole to bounceback after a poor start in Game 1 and deliver a gem against a Nationals squad playing on their heels in Game 5. The outstanding 3rd baseman in this game, Bregman and Rendon, have finally heated up which means that the starting pitchers are in even more trouble. I believe we get a high-scoring game even though the aces take the mound.
